Tetrology of Fallot

​

• Interventricular septal defect (VSD); pentology of Fallot with additional ASD

• Hypertrophy of the right ventricle (from the pulmonary stenosis)

• Overriding aorta

  • means aorta is located more in the midline​ between right and left ventricular septum

  • it overrides the VSD thus receiving blood supply from poorly oxygenated right ventricle

• Pulmonary stenosis
